About Us

KMD Enterprises was established in 2018 by co-founders Kane Morant and Maxwell Davies, who each bring more than a 15 years of hands-on experience in hoists, mast climbers and scaffolding. What began as a two-person operation with a single vehicle has evolved into a specialised business built on technical expertise, reliability and long-term industry partnerships. In its early years, KMD focused on supporting plant hire companies across Sydney and Brisbane, earning a strong reputation for professionalism, responsiveness and safe delivery.

Today, KMD has grown into a dedicated team of 14 skilled professionals and a trusted partner to builders, asset owners and contractors. In 2020, the company broadened its capabilities to include structural steel and solar carports, allowing KMD to offer integrated solutions from access systems through to steel and solar infrastructure. Most recently, KMD has also introduced a dedicated Mastclimber rental fleet, further enhancing its ability to provide flexible, end-to-end solutions tailored to project needs. This continued growth has supported the successful delivery of projects across the eastern states of Australia.
